In addition to Medicare and Medicaid home health services, HomeCare of the Valley provides skilled home care and support services to patients who pay for the services themselves or are covered by third-party payers.

Some insurances cover personal care services. Examples of coverage might be found in long-term insurance policies, specialized insurance programs covered by the employer, or other supplemental policies purchased by the patient/family.

 

What Services Do You Offer?

HomeCare of the Valley offers private duty nursing by certified nursing aides or personal care assistants. Care provided is a 2-hour minimum to 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.

• Bathing and helping with personal hygiene

• Assistance with toileting or ostomy care

• Changing bed linens

• Assistance with feeding

• Shopping and meal preparation

• Medication reminders

• Assistance with transfers

• Accompanying the patient to medical appointments

• Basic household errands
